Okay, so most of you that read this blog religiously should pretty much know that I'm a die hard Pharrell/Neptunes fan. LOL!!! With that being said, Pharrell is currently in the studio with Usher. Hopefully, making a better album this time around. Usher's Here I Stand was a disappointment to me last year, but that is just my opinion. I liked some tracks on the album, however, namely "Love In This Club." There is no word on how many tracks Pharrell will be contributing to Usher's future release, but hopefully we will hear the tracks that they are working on when the album comes out. Usher's album is set for release sometime at the end of this year, but no official release date has been set. Also, Usher is currently in talks with Ne-Yo about appearing on the album and also Maroon 5's Adam Levine is also in the studio with Usher as well.
Now why is Usher releasing another album so soon? Well, it appears that Usher is disappointed with how his last album did commercially, so he is now back in the booth to make things right. Regardless of how disappointed he is, the album has sold about 2 million copies worldwide, but didn't do as well as Kanye, Lil Wayne, Taylor Swift, Beyonce, T.I. etc, during the first week.
I am pretty sure that Usher's wifey Tameka Foster is all tangled up in nots about this one. Hell....she probably turned into the exorcist, after seeing this video. And she's preggars too!!! Usher is about to catch a beat down. It looks like Usher is back to pleasing the ladies, which is something that he hasn't been doing since he has been married. Now, Mama Raymond is in control and we know Tameka probably ain't happy about that. Haha! Do you like the video?

Usher's wife Tameka has another bun in the oven. According to the Chicago Sun Times, Usher and his wife Tameka Foster are "preggars" with child #2. I see they didn't waste any time having another child. That is usually how the cookie crumbles though. Those kiddos pop up like pimples. LOL! The good or bad news, depending on who you are, is that the couple has split again. The truth of the matter is, regardless if the are broke up or not, you best believe Usher will have to deal with Tameka for the rest of his everlasting life now that he has a child with her. Prepare for baby #2 to drop in December! Haha!
Well, I am sure we all know by now that Usher has re-hired his mother as his manager again. He is planning to release two more singles from his disappointment of an album "Here I Stand." He just released the title track "Here I Stand" and "Trading Places" to radio outlets. Will this give the album additional sales? His latest single "Moving Mountains" failed to move any mountains on the billboard charts. Now, that his mother is back on board, do you think that she can help get Usher back to the top? I am pretty much undecided on this one. She may be able to help a little bit. I think they really messed up releasing "Moving Mountains" as a single. I guess all we have to do is wait and see!
A few months ago we heard that Usher was going to hire his mom as his manager again. Well, now it is official. His rep has stated that he has tossed Benny Medina to the curbside. Mama is back in business! I think it was wrong for him fire his mama anyway. Usher haven't you learned that mama know's best???!! But no, he wanted to act like he knew everything and fell on his face in the process of that. Here I Stand failed to please Usher fans. I just hope that Usher has learned his lesson and get's back in good graces with his mom. You just don't do mama like that! This photo of him kissing his mom is a good start. Awwwwwwww! My sister just sent me this photo of Usher and his son on the August 2008 cover of Essence Magazine. He is such a cutie pie! Look at those fat cheeks! This picture gives me baby fever. I want to get "preggars" again, but I need a good man first! Haha! Oh well, maybe one of these days! You'd think I have enough. I have three boys already. Haha! But hey, I need a girl right? (Smiles) And no I am not a hot mama! Haha!! All of those kiddos have the same daddy, ya feel me?

Check out this video of Usher's interview on the "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" show on Thursday night. He also performed his hit song "Love in This Club." Am I the only that's tired of this song? He has performed that song any and everywhere. I am suprised he didn't perform "Moving Mountains." Maybe it's because he knows the song sucks! He was wrong for putting out that song.

BET recently announced the nominees for the BET Awards 2008. T-Pain leads the pack of nominees with five award nominations. Kanye West, who is currently on the Glow in the Dark Tour, and Keyshia Cole received three nominations each. Mary J. Blige, Alicia Keys, and Flo Rida received two nominations.
The show will feature perfomances by Mariah Carey, Usher, Lil Wayne, Mary J. Blige, and Nelly. The show will air on June 24th. The rest of the nominations were announced on BET's 106 & Park yesterday. Mark your calendars. The show should be good!
