We all know that Eminem loves to take shots at his fellow entertainers and artists and Amy Winehouse is no exception. Sources reveal that the rapper has taken shots at Amy in his new single, "We Made You," with the following line:
"You're my Amy, I'm your Blake/ Matter fact make me a birthday cake/ With a saw blade in it to make my jail break/ Baby, I think you just met your soul mate."
Apparently, Eminem wanted to collaborate with with Amy on his upcoming album Relapse, especially since they both have struggled with addiction and substance abuse. Eminem emphathizes with the Soul singer and reached out to her for a collaboration. Unfortunately, the pairing of the two on a record did not happen as Ms. Winehouse declined the offer. Sources say that she was flattered by the offer and is a big fan of Hip-Hop and Eminem. However, with her current struggles, she could not go through with the collaboration. As a result, Eminem dissed her on his new track. However, reports say their is no love lost between the two. Eminem understands that she has been through a tough time in her career and needed time to get herself together. Eminem still hopes that they will collaborate on a future project.
Sultry Soul singer Amy Winehouse will be releasing some new songs in May, according to her official website. Her official website stated that she would preview some of her new songs during "Island Records 50 Year celebrations" to be held at the Shepherds Bush Empire on May 31. In her own words, the British superstar stated:
"I hope to play some new songs. I'm busy in the studio at the minute, too busy to go out and have much fun really. I can't even play pool in my favourite pool hall. It's probably for the best though. It's probably for the best. I only end up getting arrested for assault when I go out these days."
Also, Amy will be performing at the 18th Annual Saint Lucia Jazz Festival on May 8. During the event, which will take place on May 2 - 10, she will be accompanied by Patti LaBelle, Michael McDonald, Chaka Khan and Chicago among others. Reportedly, the singer has been recording in St. Lucia and working with the talented Salaam Remi for her third project. The rumor is that her upcoming album will primarily be reggae-influenced. If that is true, then I'm excited. All of you Stayondeck readers out there know that I'm a huge fan so a reggae album would be dope! She can definitely pull it off.

Reports say that the British singer recently recorded at a studio in St. Lucia. On Winehouse's two previous albums, Frank and Back to Black, some of the songs had a reggae vibe. I have started feeling a lot of reggae music lately, so I'm definitely looking forward to the album. In addition, the lyrics on the album have been described as dark. The track was produced by hot producer Salaam Remi and actually uses the same beat as Nas' hit song "Made You Look." Both singles were produced by Salaam Remi and he wrote "In My Bed" as well. "In My Bed" was Winehouse's third single from this Frank and one of my favorite tracks from the singer. It has a soulful vibe with a nice touch of Jazz. It reminds me a lot Roy Ayers' music. If you haven't heard of Roy Ayers, then definitely check him out. He's a dope Soul/Jazz artist from back in the 70's. Anyway, enjoy the flashback. I am definitely a big Amy Winehouse fan and love the jazz/hip-hop vibe in her music. I was raised on that kind of stuff. This video was released before all of her current troubles...
I hate this! I love different types of music and love when two different music world's can come together, but this just frankly sucks! Alicia Keys doesn't sound right singing this. This is a song for the new James Bond movie. Amy Crackhouse was supposed to be on this track with Jack White from The White Stripes, but she messed that up with her drug addiction and couldn't get it right. I actually think Amy could've did more justice to this song than Alicia. Man, I am so mad at Amy Winehouse right now!!! And Alicia this song isn't working with you girl!!!!

Well for all of you Amy Winehouse fans, her upcoming album may be shelved. Reports are swirling around that she is not sticking to her recording schedule and has only finished two songs. Her album was supposed to be finished by the end of this year or sometime early next year, but people are doubtful that is going to happen. Supposedly, she has too many issues at the moment to concentrate on music or recording. We all know that she has a serious drug problem that she is trying to deal with. I was reading that a member of the group Oasis made a comment about Amy when asked if he was going to collaborate with her. He basically stated that Amy may be dead by the time that he gets a chance to work with her. Anyway, it's a shame that she is so messed up. I really like her music a lot. I am a big fan....
Can you believe Amy Winehouse arrived to fundraiser looking like she fell in some bushes along the way?? I think that fundraiser should be for her to get herself a stylist or something. The girl has way too much talent to let herself waste away like this! And I thought she was in rehab, but apparently it is not helping. Ms. Wino is just a train wreck that is geting worse.

It looks just like her doesn't it? Well.....let me take that back....not exactly. She doesn't look like that anymore...Haha! If they did a wax replica of the singer all cracked out like she is now, it wouldn't look so nice! Anyway, I just wanted to post this because I was amazed at how much this wax figure looked like her. I hope she really takes the time to get herself together before she releases another album. Her father basically confirmed that she has recorded new material.

You know I like her as an artist, but I am getting tired of hearing about her. She needs to get it together! I hope Kanye makes a diss song about her. Haha... He should record the "Rehab" remix and clown her. I hear can hear him saying, "She's a h**, h**, h**"....haha...Mr. Roc-A-Fella himself is surprised about what was said and wants to get the two together to settle the beef. He said he didn't hear what she said, until after the performance and defended Kanye by saying that he was the biggest artist signed to the Roc right now. This woman has been in the headlines so much lately and she is doing more things to keep people talking. Here is footage of her performing at the Glastonbury Festival with Jay-Z headlining the event. It was obvious that she was probably drunk while performing "Rehab." Her words were slurred while singing and she even forgot some of the words to her very own song. And if you look closely, you will actually see her elbowing a fan. As I have stated before, I really admire Amy Winehouse as an artist. She is really talented, but she is torturing her career right now. It really is sad. This performance was hard to watch! Let me know what you think!

The singer is still being tested to investigate the cause of her fainting spell. So for now, she is still in a London Hospital. I am sure that we all know that drugs has been a big part of her life. OMG! I cannot believe what I am seeing! Somebody please get this woman some help! British tabloids claim that she is just enjoying the sun and doesn't care how she looks in public. I say, stop making excuses for her and get her some help because she needs it desperately. Reportedly, she was going to record the theme song to the latest James Bond flick with her producer Mark Ronson, but backed out. Songbird Amy Winehouse was released from police custody Saturday, April 26 just one day after being held for allegedly head-butting a man at a bar earlier in the week. Reportedly, Winehouse apologized to the police and the man that she slapped.
Amy Winehouse did as she was told and voluntarily reported to a London police station on Friday, April 25 to be questioned after allegedly head-butting a man outside a London pub during a wild night out. A 38-year-old man claimed that he was head-butted by the singer and filed a lawsuit against her.
Many people are hoping that she divorces her husband Blake Fielder. Rumors are circling around that both of them have cheated on each other. In fact, her husband is currently incarcerated. Some say that her husband is contributing to her demise. Her father issued this statement to U.K.'s News of the World that he wanted the Grammy-winner locked up in a mental hospital for her own protection. "I want her sectioned," he said. "The situation is getting out of control. I want her off the street."
As I have said before, I hope that she gets things on track. She is too talented to go down in flames.

Apparently, if she does not get the message, then she will not be able to release another album. Amy is currently in the studio working on the follow-up to her Grammy-winning album Back to Black. Reportedly, she plans to work magic with hit producer Mark Ronson. Even Prince and George Michael have shown interest in working with the star. Winehouse also wants to work with Damian Marley, who is the son of reggae legend Bob Marley.
Please Amy Winehouse! Stop smoking crack! Get it together girl! I want to hear that second album. All in favor say "I." It almost hurts me to say this since I am such a big fan of her. Sometimes, I just want to grab her by her shoulders, shake her, and tell her, "Damn! Get it together!" She has an amazing voice and loads of talent.
