Is 50 Cent Reaaaally Back?

I don't know if any of you agree, but 50 Cent fell off since his "Wanksta" days. After hearing his last album, I told myself, "he's done!" Well, the rapper is preparing to release his album Before I Self Destruct in June, which will be his final album on his Interscope contract. The rapper has been involved in a number of feuds, especially with our favorite Correctional Officer Rick Ross. In my mind, these feuds are taking place to create or build hype for his album. This is just my opinion, but I think 50 knows that he needs to bring it this time around or his career is basically over. He's has to get his respect back, and he describes his next album as his "best album to date." The album reportedly, will be darker and yet more aggressive than his previous releases. It's put up or shut up time. Now the question is, will he truly succeed in making a classic album for the masses; gain his respect back and then some? That question remains to be seen of course, but the longer it takes for the album to drop increases the chances for the album to be a success. I was looking at the track-listing for the album, which was confirmed by HipHopDX.com. The track-list has some very impressive producers contributing to this project. He has producers ranging from Dr. Dre, Hi-Tek, J.R. Rotem, Scott Storch, Tha Bizness, Play-n-Skillz, DJ Khalid, Jake One, DJ Premier, and more. I thought I would see Kanye and Timbaland on that track-listing. However, we know that these things are subject to change. I can say that I respect 50 Cent lyrically and I'm a fan of East Coast Hip-Hop, but this album is really going to have to be good for him to get back on top. I can only speak for myself, but I stopped paying attention to his music as I've heard many others say the same thing. I guess we will have to see what happens with this situation. Will he really bring it this time around? I know he's definitely capable of doing so.

50 Cent Responds to Rick Ross...

MTV Shows

Rick Ross predicted that his upcoming album would sell better than 50's upcoming album. Actually, Rick Ross said he was going "millions," which I am going to have to disagree with. However, I don't think 50 will even do millions, not unless something miraculous happens. Now if I'm wrong, I am wrong, but I think 50's greater days are behind him. 50's new material is pretty nice and sounding better, but my theory is still out on this topic. I'm still not convinced that he will even get close to selling millions...

50 Cent Says Beyonce Made Jay-Z???!!

Huh? I guess 50 Cent has been smoking a lot of "refa" nowadays. How is he going to say that Beyonce made Jay-Z? Jay-Z was huge before he got married to Beyonce. True he has added some more bank to his resume' since he married her, but still.....He is really a hater forreal...Read his exact statements below:

Another 50 Cent and Kanye Showdown???

50 is a foo!!! Check him out clowning Kanye's new single "Love Lockdown" at one of his shows the other day. Is this a precursor to another album showdown between the two. Remember when 50 and Kanye had a battle going on regarding who would sell the most records when their albums dropped on the same day? Well, according to MTV.com, 50 is talking more smack and ready for another round with Kanye. 50's album will drop on December 9th and Kanye's will drop on December 16th. I bet you anything that these albums will drop on the same day. I mean, this is the age where no release date is ever set in stone. Kanye smoked 50 last time and I think that he can do it again if these albums drop on the same day. 50 is up to his usual antics saying that he can cop "a milli" with his upcoming album. Another Good Court Day for 50...

50's baby mama has been keeping their son away from the rapper for a while now. After a day in court, 50 can now spend every other weekend with his son, until October 21, which is the scheduled date of their custody hearing. 50 told the New York Daily News that he wants to relax now that he can spend time with his son. In fact, his exact words were,

I'm going to hang out with some women. Make some music, make some movies, and continue to kick it."

I don't mean to judge, but shouldn't he have addded uh....spend time with my son in there??? Makes you think right???!! At the end of the day, no parent should be restricted from seeing their child as long as they are not a threat to the child. Whatever differences that Shaniqua and 50 have, they need to set them aside for the good of that child. 50 does seem like a jerk, but I do not know either one of the parent's situation so I have to remain open-minded on this sittuation. All I can say, is that I hope the right thing happens. How do you all feel about this situation? Any comments?

50 Cent Reinvents Hip-Hop????

According to Rolling Stone Magazine, 50 Cent claims that he is going to reinvent Hip-Hop music with his upcoming album Before I Self Destruct, which will drop at the end of the year. He said that he has been tuning out all of the music nowadays and putting himself in a zone for his album. He stated, "[Other rappers] can take what I’ve done for the last five years and do their version of it and be successful with momentum,” the G-Unit head told Rolling Stone. “Meanwhile, I have to reinvent the wheel.” The rapper also addded, "I’m not really listening to anyone else’s record. Now I’m in another space where I gotta make what I’m excited about." I wouldn't count on 50 Cent to reinventing Hop-Hop with his new album. I remember when 50 used to be hot. Now, I think the public is getting tired of him. He said he was going to cop "a milli" with his new album, but do you think he can do it after the disappointing sales of the G-Unit album?? Yeah, his album title fits the bill right now. If he doesn't do something quick his career will definitely self-destruct and I think he knows it. Do you think he can do it?

WTF??!! 50 Cent has bought the rights to Shaniqua Tompkins life story! Yes, I said it! 50 Cent pulls no punches and always wants to get the last laugh. I mean, how do you buy someone's life story? You wanna know why Shaniqua Thompkins life story is a hot commodity? Well, 50 wants to prevent his ex from writing a tell-all-book about him. This further lets me know that this man is no good. I mean, what is he afraid of? Is he afraid that Shaniqua is going to dish out some juicy dirt about him? These two are still in a court battle regarding their son together. 50 claims that she will not let him see his son. I don't know about you guys, but I think 50 is dirty and I think the public is getting tired of him too! I just want to know how did he accomplish buying the rights to someone's life story? That really boggles me right now...And their poor child is caught in the middle of this. I am sure their child's head is getting flooded with a lot of stuff right now.

"No Quiero Taco Bell" Says 50 Cent!

50 Cent wants Taco Bell. Apparently, the rapper is looking for some cash since the G-Unit album was basically a flop as far as album sales are concerned! Haha! He is not looking for any chump change either. According to hiphopdx.com, 50 has now sued Taco Bell for $4 million dollars. Yes! $4 million dollars! From what I understand, the fast food chain basically made an promotional offer to him. They wanted him to change his name to 79, 89, 99 cents for the day while rapping an order. In return, they were going to make a donation to any charity that the rapper chooses. So now 50 is saying that Taco Bell used his name or trademark in their promotion. This article was a little vague on everything in this case, but I don't understand why he is suing them. I mean, it sounds like they were just going to make an offer with 50 Cent to do this. The offer did not even go into motion. I said it before and I will say it again, he is just fishing for some money. He knows his album may not sell well too so he is panicking!

Nobody is really checking for new 50 music but he is not slowing down as businessman. Word is, 50 Cent bought the rights to his baby's mama Shaniqua life story. This strategic move will prevent her from releasing all of 50’s business for a profit. I don't know if this is true with the $50 million dollar lawsuit Shaniqua have on him.

G-Unit can't look anymore more sadder and desperate than this. Here they are at the Vitaminwater MLB All-Star Week in NYC on Monday looking like they are in a feed the children commercial, except, they are not looking for any food. They are praying for some more album sales. Look at them! They can't even flash a smile or nothing. They look bitter if you ask me. If 50 keeps yapping at the mouth, their album sales will continue to decline on each project and they will be asking for G's! I can just picture them at this same event saying, "Please buy our album. Gimme 50 cents or somethin'!" Haha...

Can 50 Cent Sell A Mill the First Week?

50 Cent loves to makes challenges and talk trash. Lil Wayne has been killing the music charts with his new album Tha Carter 3. 50 Cent wants the same shine when his album comes out. He believes that he will sell a million copies in the first week, which I don't think he will pull off. I mean the G-Unit album isn't even selling as much as 50 intended so what makes him think that his album is going to do well? I think that he feels that all of his trash talking creates hype, which will turn into record sales. However, quite frankly, I think the public is getting tired of 50. 50 Wants More Time With His Son...

50 cent likes to talk a lot of trash, but is trying to improve certain areas of his life. Apparently, he is trying to get rid of some of his tatoos and, now wants to see his eleven year-old son Marquis. Right now, the child is caught between a court battle between 50 and his ex Shaniqua Tompkins. Shaniqua will not allow 50 to see Marquis because she thinks he burned down the home that she was living in.

I will tell you my beliefs on this matter. I do not approve of any mother trying to keep a child away from their father, unless he has done harm to the child in any way. I am looking at this matter from the outside looking in and I do not know the total situation. However, I feel that this child should not be caught in the middle of this. As long as 50 is willing to be a responsible father, then he needs to have time with him. I know 50 is a jerk and all, and has a big mouth, but it seems that he is trying to set some things straight in his personal life. Both parents need to respectful to one another and get along for the sake of the child. That is what smart parents do. I hope this situation gets worked out and that Marquis is not caught in the middle. 50 has been doing and saying some terrible things though, but you just don't involve children in relationship problems. I want to hear your opinions on this one....

Who Cares if G-Unit's Album Drops Today?

Not me. I am not a fan of 50 Cent at all. He has been involved in a lot of grimyness lately from the incident with his ex to the Young Buck situation. I still think that was low of him to expose a private phone conversation like that. I can't help but feel bad for Young Buck. Those are the type of people that you cannot trust, and will stop at nothing to get the last laugh. G-Unit's Terminate on Sight album hit stores today and I do not think it is going to do much as far as sales are concerned. Prove me wrong, however. Maybe he has been causing a stir and b*****n lately as a publicity stunt for this album. I know he did change the release date of the album because The Game was going to drop his album on the same day. It would surprise me if all this shifting of release dates and all will help their album sales. I guess we will what the album will do. 50 cent Talks About the Situation with Young Buck on MuchonDemand

Rapper 50 Cent of G-Unit visits MuchOnDemand at the Chum/City Building on June 22, 2008 in Toronto, Canada to talk about G-Unit's current situation with Young Buck. According to 50, Buck went to Atlanta to participate in a project with Young Jeezy when he was supposed to be recording the G-Unit album. Young Buck was apparently upset about not receiving some royalty checks. However, 50 stated that he at least earned over $8 million. Rapper Lloyd Banks also appeared at the interview with 50. Ciara and 50 cent Married?

There are a lot of reports swirming around that 50 Cent and Ciara are married. MediaTakeOut.com reports that both Ciara and 50 Cent are wearing wedding bands. Of course, the couple denies these accusations. Reportedly, the couple has been involved in a secret romance for a while now. I do not know if I believe these rumors are not, but our very own Alicia Allout reported that 50 Cent got rid of his tatoos, so who knows? Could he be preparing for marriage with Ciara?

50 Cents Removes His Tattoos

G-Unit Radio celebrity gossiper Jen The Pen recently blog on her weekend with G-Unit that 50 Cent got rid of all his tattoos, including the mural on his back. When asked why. 50 said he is not going to be taking off his shirt anymore and since he is going to be focusing on movies that the cover up process is too extensive. It took 6 months and 3 laser session. Some of his skin look a little burned, but for the most part was clear.

50 cent's Mansion Burned Down

Rapper 50 cent's Long Island mansion went down in flames today. The million-dollar home was at the center of a dispute between 50 cent and his ex-girlfriend Shaniqua Tompkins. His ex-girlfriend and his 10 year-old son were living in the house prior to it burning down. The rapper has been trying for months to kick her out of the house along with his son, which I think is messed up. Shaniqua believes that 50 cent may have been associated with this crime. She was given permission to stay in the home for the time being. What do you guys think? Do you think that 50 cent was responsible for this fire?
