The Clipse is back with a new joint titled, "Kinda Like a Big Deal," ft. Kanye West. Their upcoming album Till the Casket Drops, will drop sometime this summer. The album will feature production from Kanye West, Swizz Beatz, The Hitmen, DJ Khalil, The Neptunes, of course, Rick Rubin, The J.U.S.T.I.C.E League, and more. The album should be hot. Their latest single was produced by DJ Khalil. You may click on the link below to listen to he track. Let us know if it's dope or not by taking the poll.
Okay, here's a new one from Ciara titled "Never Ever" ft. Young Jeezy. Now, you may ask how do I feel about this one? Well, the jury is still out on how I feel. However, I can definitely say that it's better than "Go Girl." I think most people were probably expecting Ciara to make us dance again, but she switched things up a little with this one. I like the song better when Jeezy's verse kicks in, but this is indeed an improvement! I was caught off guard when I heard the hook at first. I was like, "Ahhh lawd. She's trying to remake a classic with Simply Redd's song, "If You Don't Know Me By Now." LOL!!! But I can't tell you right now if I love this or hate this. All I can say that this is an improvement...It is growing on me the more that I hear it. What do you think? Does Super C have a chance with this joint? Look out for her album Fantasy Ride during Spring 2009!
Here is a sneak peak of a new song by Justin Timberlake titled, "Steppin' Out Tonight," which is reportedly supposed to be on his upcoming album. I have always liked Justin Timberlake as an artist and even when he was in N Sync because I knew he had talent. I like his work with The Neptunes better, but he is definitely doing his thing. I like what I hear from his new project so far.
Here are those two new Beyonce songs that everyone has been waiting to hear. The first song is titled, "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)" and the second one is a slow ballad called, "If I Were A Boy." I still haven't decided what I think about these songs. I will have to listen to them more before I make my final decision, but I want to hear what you guys think. Do you like these songs? Which one do you like the best? I think I like "Single Ladies" better than the other one....
T-Pain is ready to drop his second single "Chopped and Screwed" ft. Ludacris. His upcoming album will be releasded on November 11th. This song talks about being chopped and screwed and the song itself has been chopped and screwed. The track sounds pretty good. Do you like it?
Here is a new track from Musiq ft. Mary J. Blige titled "If You Leave." I will say this...I like this track better than his first single "Radio." That song just wasn't Musiq's style. This song showcases more of what we are used to hearing from him...
Here a new track from Ryan Leslie that will appear on his upcoming album. This joint is hot!! I am wondering about the production right now. Those drums sounds like the ones on the Neptunes produced track "I Know" on Jay-Z's American Gangster album. It definitely sounds Neptunes inspired, but I know Leslie is a talented producer so this may be his work. I guess I will find out when I see the official tracklisting. Anyway, I really think Ryan Leslie is talented. His first album was so dope, but it was never released in the U.S. I had the pleasure of listening to the album and it was really good. I predict that his upcoming album will be good or just as good...Anyway, listen to the track below:
Brandy has re-united with hit producer Darckchild for her new single, "Right Here" (Departed) from her upcoming album slated for release later this year. I had no idea that Brandy and Darkchild had differences. Apparently, Brandy's ex was Darkchild's cousin. Of course you know, most of the time, family sticks together so I guess Darkchild thought it would be a conflict of interest if he kept working with Brandy after she and her ex broke up. I am glad they put all of that mess aside. I am really looking forward to her album. I like this new track from her. Brandy is back! Let me know what you think!
Simply put; this girl has an amazing voice! Enough said! I think her upcoming debut album is one of the most anticpated albums of this year in my opinion. She really has a strong buzz. In fact, I haven't been this excited about an artist since Amy Winehouse came out with Back to Black. Jazmine's music is really refreshing to hear. A lot of people have been comparing her to Lauryn Hill, but I think her music is going to take a life of it's own. "Bust Your Windows" is reportedly going to be on her upcoming album. The track gets me even more excited about this girl. I love the song. I love how the track has that live, orchestra feel to it and her voice, of course, accompanies the beat well. I am telling you I am really excited about her album. I think she is going to blow up like Amy Winehouse did. It is really funny how both of them are influenced by Lauryn Hill too. Listeners are really just searching for something different nowadays and her music totally fits the bill. Well, let me know you guys think of the song below:
Jon B. made a rare appearance at the Heineken Red Soul Concert a few days ago. I guess he trying to get his promotion on for his new single "Ooh So Sexy" featuring Paul Wall. His yet untitled upcoming album is set to drop this year. I have always loved me some Jon B. since the days that he worked with Babyface. And I am excited for his new project. His last album Stonger Everyday suffered from poor promotion, but it was really good. I can listen to that CD all the way through. Jon B. is one of those artists that never fails in the music department. I like the new single with Paul Wall. The last time I went to his myspace page, I could only hear a snippet of the track and I had been wanting to hear it so it was a pleasure to finally get a chance to hear the full version. You can listen to the track below if you haven't heard it. Jon B. can still sing to me anytime! Haha!
Thanks to 2G Entertainment for the link to the track!
