D*mn!!! It seems like everyone is either getting sued lately and involved in a lawsuit in some way. Now add Jermaine Dupri to the mix. He is getting sued after a woman has accused him of using her phone call conversation in one of his songs. The song is called "The One" by Daz Dillinger. Apparently, the phone call was recorded without her consent and now she is taking the producer to court. She is asking for $250,000. I don't really know what to say about this one. Do you think she could win?

Ne-Yo is not the only one suing concert promoters. Timbaland is too. Timbo is displeased with Brisbane-Australia based Showtime touring group, after they improperly handled his tour dates. Basically, he filed the lawsuit to set the record straight with his fans on why his tour was cancelled. And apparently, it was not the talented producer's fault. His shows in Australia were originally scheduled for the month of July, but shifted to August, and then were cancelled from that point. Showtime was supposed to pay Timbaland a performance fee for the shows, but failed to make payments as agreed according to their contract. They even lied to the fans and told them that Timbaland's tour was cancelled due to this recent wedding, which was totally false. On the day of his first show and at the last minute, they cancelled the tour altogether.
I say Timbaland has a case with these people. If a contract was signed and they made an agreement, then these promoters need to pay up and that is that!!! If it was signed on paper, then I really think they have no leg to stand on...

Well, I am sure that many of you remember how Ciara got all "bootified" for Vibe recently, especially you fellas out there. Haha!! Anyway, did you know that she dislikes the photos????!!! Yup!! And she dislikes them so much that she is making plans to cop that money from Vibe. Cici is pissed because they magazine airbrushed all of the clothing that she had on during the video shoot. Vibe admits to airbrushing in an attempt to gain more publicity for the mag. Do you guys think she has a leg to stand on? I am surprised by this lawsuit...

Ne-Yo is smiling all the way to the bank. Apparently, he just won a lawsuit against the promoter of R. Kelly's "Double Up Tour." Ne-Yo sued the promoter, after he was pulled out of the Double Up Tour." He was supposed to be R. Kelly's supporting act, but was yanked out of the tour because he may have outshined Kellz! Well, Ne-Yo wasn't fooling around when he decided to take the matter to court and came back home with a hefty amount of $700, 320. Ne-Yo claimed damages because he cleared his schedule to make the tour happen, came out of pocket on some things, and passed up some gigs. R. Kelly was not the target of the case, but I bet you anything that he had something to do with Ne-Yo being dropped. I remember hearing about what he did to Joe when he was encouraging his record label not to promote Joe that well. I bet Kellz felt intimidated by Ne-Yo and pulled the plug. Ne-Yo wasn't about to let that happen and walked away from that courtroom smiling! I would have sued to if I lost money..
