MTV, pease stop pushing crap on us!

Need I say more?


In my ongoing quest to expose MTV for the plastic-ass "music" channel it is let me start this post off with this question... Who the hell is Tyga? I see his short commercials all over MTV but have never really heard any buzz about him. I listened to his lead single about mixing the lime with the coconut or whatever and am still wondering where this marketing push is coming from. He's getting the same kind of push on MTV that established artists like Lil Wayne and N.E.R.D. are getting and this clown doesn't have the catalogue to justify it. Yo Tyga, just becasue you have tattoos all over your body and dress like a rapper doesn't make you one. Dude's lyrics have no depth, his flow sounds like a poor man's Wayne and Hova, and his themes come off as nothing more but cliche. MTV needs to stop pushing artists like Tyga, Santogold and whatever other hipster pseudo-hip-hop act that comes along. Can we get back to soulful music MTV? Don't beleive the hype.
