D'angelo - The Best So Far


Is this a sign that the greatest musician/artist of our generation has a new release on the way? On June 24th Virgin EMI is set to release a greatest hits compilation for D'angelo titled THE BEST SO FAR. The album will have tracks from his first two albums including rare tracks, music videos, and ringtone downloads. Now I can only speculate but this seems like the label is trying to get my man's name out there again to create some buzz for his upcoming, long overdue, album titled JAMES RIVER. Even though anyone who was a fan of D'angelo in the late nineties has every b-side track and live recording of the man by now, this is a good oppurtunity for the kids to get into a real artist amidst the current climate of Ushers, Lloyds, and Lil Waynes of the world. So if you are not familiar with D's music this is a great oppurtunity to become a better person. SUPPORT REAL MUSIC.
