Recording artist Mariah Carey and her new hubby Nick Cannon attended the 5th Annual Operation Smile Gala on May 15, 2008 at Skylight Studio in New York City. In the pictures below, they are both smiling for the cameras. Some people are saying that their marriage is a hoax. I hope that is not true. I mean, this marriage hype popped up right after her new album was released. I can't help but wonder if this is just a ploy to help her album sales. It's not helping anyway whether it is a farce or not because her album continues to decline on the billboard charts.
