Erykah Badu and The Roots in Concert

Singer Erykah Badu performs live in concert with The Roots at Mizner Park Amphitheatre on May 20, 2008 in Boca Raton, Florida. The show was apart of the twelve-week Vortex Tour, which will include 42 shows to promote her new album New Amerykah Part I (4th World War). The tour will conclude in the U.S. in Albuquerque, NM on June 15th and continue in Europe starting June 25th. Check ticketmaster.com or other venues for complete tour dates. The Roots are promoting their new album The Rising, which was released on April 29th. The album was a huge disappointment in my book. Their new single "Rising Up" featuring Chrisette Michele is one of the best tracks on the album. Erykah Badu's album, on the other hand, is stellar.
