Beyonce Is Unhappy About Two of Her of Songs That Were Leaked...

"A Beautiful Nightmare" and "Kick 'Em Out" were leaked on the internet a few days ago. Shortly after the songs leaked, they quickly disappeared. Beyonce' was not happy about it and made sure to get the songs off the net. She issued a statement on her website regarding this situation:

"Yesterday, 'Beautiful Nightmare,' a demo I've been working on for possible inclusion on my next album, leaked on some websites. I want to thank all my fans for the positive response to the song, but I want to tell you that this is just a work in progress. It is not my time to put out new music. If you really want to hear some really great music now, you have to support my girls Kelly, Michelle and my sister Solange. Kelly just re-released her album digitally in the US, so check out 'Ms. Kelly: Diva Deluxe.' Michelle is about to put out the first single, 'Break The Dawn,' from her album and Solange's single, "I Decided," is already one of my favorites."

Being an artist myself, I don't blame Beyonce' for her reactions. When you are an artist, you work hard to perfect your craft. Obviously, when a song is in the recording process, it is not fully finished. A lot goes into recording a song such as, mixing, and mastering, ad-libs, harmonies, etc. It takes a lot of effort to construct a song properly and produce great studio quality. Some people looking in from the outside believe that making a song just takes the artist singing on the song, which is not true. And when people hear the song, before it is "polished," it is easy to understand why one would be angry. I say this because some people out there may say, "Well this song sounds horrible" or "It is not recorded well." Quite frankly, the track is out there; open to negative opinions. However, I can see the other side of the coin as well. Many fans are just excited to hear new music from their favorite artists. We just want to know! Some artists should be happy about that. However, when money is involved, artists want to build up excitement. Before a project is released, they don't want their listeners to get bored!

I have listened to a snippet of "Kick "Em Out" and it is definitely not finished. Her new album is slated for release this year so I am sure that we are in store for a treat. I've heard that Timbaland will be producing a majority of the album, which is a good decision because he is on another resurgence in the industry.
