Who Is Asia Cruise?


Newcomer Asia Cruise has already got the industry buzzing and eagerly awaiting her self-titled debut album, due out this Spring, with her new single "Selfish". "Selfish" is a catchy tune, in which Ms. Cruise laments about being in love with a guy that is basically "selfish" and likes to get his way. Many of her fans were intrigued when she posted a picture of her silhouette on her myspace page leaving fans wondering "Who is Asia Cruise?" Her image and face were finally revealed bringing an end to her mystery.

This talented R & B solo artist hails from Jacksonville, Florida and is signed to Hitz Committee, an imprint of Jive Records. Hitz Committee was founded by A & R Mickey "MempHitz" Wright, who is largely responsible for the success of notable artists such as, T-Pain and Huey. As of yet, there is no word on album appearances, but I guarantee that this release will be a pleasant surprise!

She has already debuted her new single on 106 & Park and TRL. By the sound of the track at the end of her new video, I think her album will be hot! I don't mean to be bias, but I really love this song!!! Take a minute to check out her new single "Selfish" and judge for yourself...... Me too. I think she can easily fall into the R & B or pop market.
