The Real Deal on the State of Luda and DTP
Ok, so many of you probably read the previous article regarding this news. It has been reported that Luda has decided to sign a deal that keeps dtp on Def Jam for and extended time. What does this mean for the artist that got dropped last week? Nothing more than now they are in a bigger hole if they stay with DTP. Considering this is a blog site and not a formal news site, I personally think the whole showcase ad Def Jam dropping those artists was all a conspiracy between Luda and the label. The timing of the whole situation worked out to well from the showcase, to the dropping, to the renegotiated deal with Def Jam. If Luda really wanted to keep his RNB acts he would have moved to a label that would have taken them. Maybe Luda didn't want to be the bad guy? Why did he have only the "rnb" acts perform at the showcase? You can piece together the rest. More updates will follow!
