Pussycat Dolls album review
Pussycat "Domination"
The album has a roster of some big time producers and songwriters: Timbaland, Rodney Jerkins, Sean Garrett, R Kelly, Danja, Stargate, The Clutch, etc. R kelly is sounding like Dream and Timbaland is sounding worse than I can ever remember, Stargate gives you what you expect.. Some of Timbo's tracks are just starting to sound like a bunch of annoying sounds put together. I have to say the album was pretty much luke warm but I have to give it to the Zone 4 crew for delivering the hottest records on the album. Specifically "Whose Gonna Love you" produced by Polow and "love the way you love me" produced by Hitboy and Chase. In fact, Hitboy's who are the most unknown producers on the album got the hottest track on the album. Shows you how messed up the industry is right now. People are going way too much off of names and not enough off of the song because some songs on this album aren't even coherent.

CNN Interviews Jeezy
Check out this interview from Jeezy with CNN. His new album The Recession was recently released about a few weeks ago and it is hot!!! I think his new CD kills Lil Wayne's Tha Carter III. I like almost every song on the album. That is the hottest hip-hop album that I have heard so far this year...

Busta's Found A New Home...

Busta Rhymes has found a new home over at Universal Motown Records, headed by Sylvia Rhone. If you remember, months ago he and Jimmy Iovine got into an argument, which resulted in Busta Rhymes being ousted from Interscope Records. At the time, Busta was preparing to release his album Blessed, but that didn't happen because Busta got into that argument with Jimmy and felt that he wasn't getting enough promo. I liked the songs that Busta ended up releasing for the album. I hope he finally gets a chance to release that album.

Do Ladies Still Love Cool James???

Apparently, not. The rappers latest album Exit 13 sold under 50,000 copies during the first week, which is a big difference from his last album. His last album sold over $100,000 copies during the first week. Oh, and what is worse...He is threatening to quit rapping because Jessica Simpson sold more records than him the first week!!! Haha!!! Wow!! He is really hurt about that!!! Haha!! Do you think the poor album sales had something to do with his material or do you think that his poor album sales is a result of the "digital" age? I pretty much think it is a combination of both. I wasn't too crazy about the singles that he released. Also, this is a new age. We are truly living in the digital age where people are downloading like crazy. I was talking to one of my friends and I was telling them how I buy CD's every week. They were like, "You buy them? Why do you do that when you can get them online for free?" Free downloads online seems to really hurt CD sales nowadays. It is hard to hit that $5-10 Million mark that we used to see back in the 90's. Do you think CD sales are going to get worse? If so, will the music industry be able to survive?

New Joint-"If You Leave" by Musiq ft. Mary J. Blige

"If You Leave" by Musiq ft. Mary J. Blige
Here is a new track from Musiq ft. Mary J. Blige titled "If You Leave." I will say this...I like this track better than his first single "Radio." That song just wasn't Musiq's style. This song showcases more of what we are used to hearing from him...

Jay-Z Teams With Stargate...

Jay-Z has a new record label in mind. The music mogul rap superstar has now teamed with the Norwegian production crew Stargate to form a new record label called StarRoc. If you are not familiar with the production duo Stargate, then they frequently work with Ne-Yo. They have also worked with Beyonce and Rihanna. Jay-Z is always buzzing with ideas. What is he going to do next??!!
