This Week on the Album Charts-The Pussycat Dolls, Jazmine Sullivan, and Joe...

Last week The Pussycat Dolls, Jazmine Sullivan, and Joe came out with albums. This week, The Pussycat Dolls made a debut on the Billboard 200 at #4 and sold about 79,000 copies. Jazmine Sullivan was #6 on the charts with her album Fearless, which is a great album by the way. She also topped the R/B charts at #1. R&B crooner Joe held the #8 spot and sold about 54,000 copies with his album New Man. The album also got the #1 spot on the Independent album charts. It seems that none of these albums had really strong debuts, but they were decent. If you didn't understand why I said these albums didn't really have strong debuts, then check this out. Next week, T.I. is expected to have a first week sales of 500,000 copies sold. Jennifer Hudson is expected to at least sell anywhere from 250,000 to 300,000 copies. Lastly, Robin Thicke is expected to sell about 150,000 copies. I am actually really surprised that The Pussycat Dolls didn't sell more records during the first week. I thought for sure they would sell over 100,000 copies. Nelly even sold more records than them!! Anyway, I strongly advise everyone to go out and buy that Jazmine Sullivan album. I love it!!! I can listen to every song. Her producers seemed to go the Amy Winehouse route as far as a lot of the beats are concerned. Good album!!!
Stay tuned to see what happens next week....

Would You Wear This?

In today's edition of "Would you wear this," Trina looks like a female version of James Brown. She was caught performing at a show the other day wearing this hideous outfit. Man, looks like her circulation is cut off in that get-up!! Haha!! What do you think about the outfit or should I ask? LOL!!

Video Premiere-"Trading Places" by Usher...Usher 'Bout To Get An A** Whoopin' For This!!!!!
I am pretty sure that Usher's wifey Tameka Foster is all tangled up in nots about this one. Hell....she probably turned into the exorcist, after seeing this video. And she's preggars too!!! Usher is about to catch a beat down. It looks like Usher is back to pleasing the ladies, which is something that he hasn't been doing since he has been married. Now, Mama Raymond is in control and we know Tameka probably ain't happy about that. Haha! Do you like the video?

112 Is Still Together...
Check out this interview with Slim of the group 112. In the interview, Slim talks about why they are not working with Diddy and Bad Boy Records anymore. He stresses that 112 is still together, even though he pursuing a solo career at this time. He single "So Fly" is doing better than the singer expected. I really like the song and I can't wait to hear an album from 112 in the future.

Alicia Keys, Jennifer Hudson, and Queen Latifah Cover the November Issue of Ebony Magazine..

Alicia Keys, Jennifer Hudson, and Queen Latifah are all smiles on the November Issue of Ebony Magazine. The girls appear in the new movie The Secret Life of the Bees. In the issue, Alicia Keys makes comments about having to tan her skin to appear darker. She and the girls would make jokes about it. Her exact statements were, "They made fun of me the whole time. I would tell Queen: ‘I’m darker than you’. She’d say: ‘Whatever, just wait till all that makeup comes off.’” Okay now. Why would Alicia Keys have to tan anyway??? What kind of difference does that make?

BET's Rap City Cancelled...

Wow everything seems to be getting cancelled nowadays. TRL just got cancelled and now the plug has been pulled on BET's Rap City. This will go into effect on November 10th. However, it will be replaced by another show called The Deal, which will be hosted by DJ Diamond Kutz. I am really surprised the show has been pulled, after 21 episodes. I remember watching that show when I was younger and watching all of the freestyles in the booth. Good news is that they are keeping elements from Rap City on the new show. The Booth still remains and the hour-long show will feature hip-hop music videos along with facts about the artist and song. Well, good-bye Rap City. The show will be missed, but change is always good.
