Apparently Ice Cube thinks so! Young Jeezy is about to star in Cubes first screenplay since 2002’s Friday After Next The movie is called Janky Promoters. Jeezy plays the “big name hip-hop act” who hooks up with a pair shady concert promoters, played by Cube and Epps, try to book him for a show. Hilarity follows as the janky promoters face the neighborhood nemesis, Mondo who has Cube’s son — played by young comedian Little JJ — under contract. Will you be at the show when this drop or will you hit up your nearest bootleg man?

What happened to Kells? I haven't heard about him since he was acquitted from his Child Pornography Trial. The question is, however, do you think he has learned his lesson? Hopefully, he is staying out of trouble and not trapped in a young girls' closet. Haha!!! Maybe he will remember how he almost went to jail and not repeat the same behavior.
He released the song "Hairbraider" before he went on trial. The song is not doing well on the billboard charts at the moment and I am sure his trial had something to do with that. Now that he has been acquitted, do you think that he has what it takes to be the billboard king again?
With the way that this music industry is going, it wouldn't surprise me if he scores some more hits. I mean, he was still taking over the charts when his sex video hit media circuits so it definitely wouldn't surprise me. My word of advice to Mr. Kelly would be to stay away from young girls if you want to avoid going to jail! He better not even look at one!
Don't expect to hear Ciara's album anytime soon. She is currently still working on her third studio album Fantasy Ride, which will be released in November. Reportedly, she will be working with Rodney Jerkins, T-Pain, and Lil Jon. Hopefully, she keeps coming with something different. She had Lil Jon on her last album as well so it looks like she is going to deliver that usual crunkness that she has been doing. A lot of artists seem to keep pushing their albums back. She is now modeling for Wilhelmina Modeling Agency so maybe she is trying to focus on that somewhat. I know one thing though; I am tired of waiting for that single "High Price" to come out featuring Ludacris. I wonder if it is worth waiting for anyway....

Latin music pop star Shakira is in talks with concert promoter Live Nation for a contract that will include touring, merchandising and recording, according to people familiar with the talks.The Colombian-born songstress, whose 2006 hit "Hips Don't Lie" was No. 1 in the United States, is expected to complete a multimillion-dollar deal with Live Nation before the end of the year, after months of talks.
